Kid Icarus' dynamic full length release from 2005
is the first to feature a full band along with a
hi-fi studio production while retaining a dash of
the lo-fi home recorded 4 track trickery of
earlier LPs. A semi-concept album which
chroncles the lives of several characters and
their struggles.
Some selected press:
"From nervous mathematical stacks of angst, to
lo-fi melodic acoustics. Rather grand pop
structures made out of guitars, piano, thermal
dynamics, and an abiding sense of fatalistic
urgency. Maybe something like the Zombies
heard from a subterranean basement."
(Dream Magazine)
"By himself, Schlittler sounds like Elliot Smith,
but when his friends show up, they're Pavement on
psychedelics" (Spin.com)
